Honorary Member

  1. A person may be invited to become an Honorary Member, if in the opinion of the Governing Body, he is a fit and proper person for conferment of the honour, having regard to his meritorious contribution to the science of law or the growth or reform of law or administration of justice;
  2. the approval of the Managing Trustee must be obtained by the Governing Body for consideration of the proposal to enroll him as such; and
  • the proposal must receive the support of not less than two-thirds of the total number of members of the Governing Body.

As approved by the Governing Body :

“The Committee suggested that as a matter of convention the Managing Trustee and President of the Law Mantra be invited to become honorary members of the Law Mantra after they demit the offices.”
